Non-woven cloths, the low-cost solution for cleaning
Did you know that ? Opting for non-woven cloths for your cleaning is an economical, ecological and time-saving solution for your activities. They have many advantages - often unsuspected - in their use. Let's take a closer look at these little wonders...
What is a non-woven cloth ?
Also called non-woven microfiber cloth, it is a neutral wiping product designed for all uses. With it, where simple cloths without additional product only move the dust, the non-woven cloth will trap it thanks to the fibers that compose it. This is already a significant advantage that will save you additional costs to clean your surfaces properly.
It is used to fight against dust, but not only : if you moisten it with a little water, it will be able to catch grease and dirt to eliminate them in an equally spectacular way !
As you can see, it is a very promising and environmentally responsible cleaning tool. It can replace disposable wipes without having to blush, as long as you pair it with a disinfectant if you need to disinfect something.
How do I use a non-woven wipe ?
This may seem like a silly question. Well, it's not. If you want to use this product in the most efficient way, there are a few things you need to know. This is not just a simple cloth for removing bread crumbs from a table. With these tips, you'll be sure to get results that won't make you regret choosing this wiping method.
- Moisten (or not) your wipe depending on the need for targeted use, or spray water or any other product on the surface to be treated ;
- Fold the microfiber cloth in half, in four or in eight depending on the area to be cleaned. This will allow you to change sides and continue with the cleaning once a side is dirty
Caution : never leave a mop soaking in water, or anything else, once the task is finished ; this will damage the fibers and make them less effective in the long term !
How do I maintain a microfiber cloth ?
You are right to wonder about this. Don't worry, it's not a big deal. In general, we recommend washing between 40°C and 90°C (60°C being the minimum temperature to exterminate dust mites, if you have used your mop for dusting). Set your machine to Synthetic : your mops will thank you, because a spin power adapted for cotton, for example, would damage your good. The key is to keep it smooth for future use. If not, be careful !
The ones we propose on NovProtect.com resist to more than 10 washes each one according to use, with their grammage at 80g/m². They are also resistant to solvents and absorb up to 8 times their weight.
The days when you had to buy several different products to clean properly are over !
